Mobility Wheelchair Lift Vans |
|
There are different types of van lifts, but generally they are automated and simple to use. However, they are also considered less reliable than manual ramps, as their mechanisms are more apt to break down. The height of the van’s doorway must be taken into account when determining whether a lift can be used with the vehicle; if the opening is too low, a lift cannot be used. The total combined weight of the wheelchair and the height of the seated wheelchair user are some other dimensions that must be considered when choosing the appropriate lift.
