- Interior carpets – These carpets have an under pad that reduces the volume of sound inside of the minivan.
- Rubberized or fiberglass flooring – This type of flooring is easy to clean and won’t collect moisture or mildew.
- Running boards – Running boards are usually non-slip and make stepping into and out of the minivan easier for ambulatory passengers.
- Rotating seat - A rotating seat can be installed in some minivans. The seat allows passengers who require mobility devices to lower themselves into a seat on the outside of the vehicle, then push a button to be transported to the inside of the minivan.
- Tie-downs – Tie-downs for rear-entry minivans are the same as those that are available for side-entry minivans. Please see “Side-entry lowered-floor minivan” above for more information.
